HTT CEO, Dr. David, was awarded the prestigious “Senior Research Fellow“ honour during the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong-Jiangsu Science and Technology Innovation Center.

HTT was honored to have its CEO, Dr. David, attend the HK-JSTIC opening ceremony on October 21, 2025, at Hong Kong Cyberport. The event marked a key milestone in fostering cross-regional sci-tech collaboration and innovation.

The ceremony featured unveilings, keynote addresses, and strategic dialogues, bringing together leaders from government, academia, and industry. Participants included Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation and Technology; Zhao Yan, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province; Tang Yingnian, Founding President of the Hong Kong Jiangsu Society; Tan Tieniu, Party Secretary of Nanjing University; and Ye Shuiqiu, Deputy Director-General of the Education, Science, and Technology Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government. Also present were Professor Xiang Zhang, President of HKU, and Professor Nancy Yip, President of HKUST. These leaders celebrated the center’s launch and highlighted the synergy between Hong Kong’s gateway role and Jiangsu’s innovation strengths.

The event focused on enhancing industry-academia-research collaboration, spotlighting initiatives like the Innovation and Technology Venture Fund, the Sci-Tech Industry Guidance Fund, and the Sci-Tech Accelerator Pilot Scheme to support startups and drive national development.

HTT values Dr. David’s recognition as a “Senior Research Fellow” for his contributions to the technology community. This accolade reinforces HTT’s commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation globally.
