HTT CEO Dr. David Joins Hong Kong Innovation Delegation to Changzhou, Pioneering 'Golden Channel' for Enterprise Industrial Chain Upgrades

HTT was honored to have its CEO, Dr. David, join the Hong Kong Innovation Delegation's visit to Changzhou from October 30 to 31, 2025, led by Shi Xianzhao, President of the Hong Kong Jiangsu Enterprises Association and Chairman of Zhongshan Co., Ltd. The delegation, comprising over 30 university scholars, sci-tech entrepreneurs, and financial venture capital leaders, hosted the "Gathering Talents, Converging Wisdom, Sci-Tech Future" docking exchange meeting to promote the Hong Kong-Jiangsu Sci-Tech Innovation Center and establish a "golden channel" for upgrading Jiangsu enterprise industrial chains and facilitating innovation resource flows through a closed-loop model of pain-point resolution, resource integration, and ecosystem co-building.
The visit featured in-depth roundtables, enterprise docking sessions, and site tours, uniting key stakeholders from Hong Kong's innovation ecosystem and Changzhou's industrial leaders. Prominent attendees included Changzhou Deputy Mayor Pan Dongling, who highlighted the city's socio-economic progress and Hong Kong-Changzhou economic-tech collaborations; Hong Kong-Jiangsu Sci-Tech Innovation Center representatives; as well as experts like Cen Junda, Senior R&D Manager and Scientific Advisor at Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group; Liu Aiqun, Dean of the Institute of Quantum Technology at Hong Kong Polytechnic University; and Cheng Yan, Chairman of Boyu Capital Management Co., Ltd. Several PhD entrepreneurs from HKU, HKUST, and CUHK engaged deeply with representatives from 14 Changzhou enterprises, including Chengxin Semiconductor, Chuangjian Medical, Ideal Auto, Huada Chemical, and Pinglv Exploration Intelligent Tech, discussing challenges in technology R&D, talent co-cultivation, overseas expansion, and listing financing. The Changzhou West Taihu Sci-Tech Industrial Park showcased its enterprise development landscape, with officials from the city's NDRC, Sci-Tech, MIIT, and Commerce departments joining, hosted by Yang Guocheng, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department. The group also toured innovation hubs such as Ruier Man Intelligent Tech, Zhengtu New Vision Tech, and Xingju Youth Digital Factory.
The program emphasized strategies for industrial chain optimization, including technology transfer via joint labs and offshore innovation bases, aggregation of global resources through the "Su-HK International Sci-Tech Innovation Service Alliance," and targeted support for tech commercialization in AI, biopharma, new materials, and emerging sectors to address real demands and drive high-quality growth in the Greater Bay Area.
